Filming of The Meta Secret

Today, I find myself in glorious Frankfurt - truly living up the life of an online blogger.

I am visiting Deustchland in search of Dr Mel Gill - for filming of The Meta Secret.

Now, The Meta Secret is truly a film to rival the self-help phenomenon that was The Secret.

It centres around a fantastic story with some great actors - which actually tells of Mel's own search for the meaning of life.

You can view the trailer for the film online at www.metasecret.com.

But a picture tells a thousand words. So, here are my travels from this morning...

Central Station - with Atlas holding the fort. (Remember, Atlas carries the Heavens, not the World!)

Heading out down toward the Frankfurt Book Fair, on the very last of it's five days.

Welcome to Frankfurt Book Fair - held in the city for over 500 years. Nearby you'll find the home of Gutenberg, inventor of the world's first printing press.

Enter the abyss. Five days, 7,000 exhibitors, 100 countries, and 300,000 visitors. Massive building: it took me 30 minutes to walk to the hall I wanted!

I arrive at The Meta Secret stand - only to find my face published on every DVD around. I am listed as one of the 12 core teachers from the film...

Then recording begins. Live - at the exhibition - in front of everyone! People are taking photos - and afterwards, I'm interviewed by a German journalist for a British newspaper.

Finally - after a couple of hours filming, and a further couple of hours chatting to publishers and journalists, I manage to find myself a salad bar - and a glass of wine.

We may have a little further filming to do over the coming month or so - however watch out for The Meta Secret.

This film is going to make it big. Put it this way - when I was there, Borders were scrambling to stock it in their European stores.

It's coming out January 2009.

And, strangely, it features me.

What a glorious day! :)

Lighten Up!

Is the world weighing heavy on your shoulders?

Are you tired and finding that everything requires just too much effort?

If so, it's time to take a break and lighten up.

Take a day off and relax.

Too busy? Well, life isn't going to stop just because you're taking a well-earned break.

Reflect on why you're feeling so weighed down.

Have you taken on too many commitments? Are you not asking for the help or support that you need? Are you involved in energy-robbing disputes or relationships?

Think about it and take action to change the situation.

It's possible that your chosen path isn't right for you at this moment or that you need to take a different path or course of action.

Of course, you may simply need some time out or a bit of TLC.

If that's the case, treat yourself.

Have fun!

Do something that you really love doing just for relaxation and a change of scene.

You'll find that taking a break will help you lighten up so that you feel rejuvenated.

And if you really feel down in the dumps, laugh!

Roll about laughing. Feel the positive energy of laughter.

There is a Yiddish proverb that goes...

"What soap is to the body, laughter is to the soul."

It doesn't matter if you feel that you have nothing to laugh about. Start laughing and wake up that tired spirit that has been squashed for so long because of the perceived pressures of the world.

Laugh and the entire world lightens up!

Give it a try.

Rebecca Marina Interview

A quick update to let you know that the interview with Rebecca Marina went wonderfully - and is now available for download!

Thanks to the hundreds of people that joined us on the teleseminar, or who listened live via the Web.

I'm really, truly, extremely honoured and humbled :)

We discussed everything from spirituality to productivity to single-dom!

We also chatted about my own thoughts on self-development, including the "secret" to true happiness.

(Hint: Every thought is limiting you right now!)

I had a riot, and loved every moment.

You can download an MP3 version of the interview by clicking here:
